Ryan Lochte is as cool as a cucumber.
When asked about his Rio robbery lie, and the impending punishments, Lochte noted:

The only word anyone should be using in regards to this story and this brain surgeon is "heroic."
Many cities in the past few weeks have been all but shut down due to the ice and snow, and it's been so dangerous — and not just dangerous for people out there driving and traveling, but also those who need care in hospitals.
Dr. Zenko Hrynkiw (amateur Rutger Hauer look-alike) risked his own life to save another, regardless of the weather! He walked SIX MILES in the snow to perform an emergency life-saving brain surgery at Trinity Medical Center in Alabama.
"It really wasn't that big of a deal."
Apparently he was at the Brookwood Medical Center when he heard someone at the Trinity Medical Center needed surgery… and no other surgeon there could do it. He couldn't drive, he couldn't ride with emergency vehicles.
The patient had a "90 percent chance of dying."
The doctor continued:
"He was dying, so if he didn't have surgery he would be dead, and it's not going to happen on my shift."
So he walked — and even helped some people in accidents on the way. He was about a mile from Trinity Medical Center when he was finally able to catch a ride!
The patient SURVIVED because of the successful operation, and is reportedly doing well!
This is just so incredible, and gives us faith in people!
