Oh no! We hope everything's OK!
A worker at the Sochi Olympics was sent to this hospital earlier today when he was struck by a bobsled a couple of minutes before a training heat began!
There aren't too many details on how the accident went down in the first place, but International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach released a statement on the mishap:
"We still do not know why he was in this zone and exactly what happened. The information we have so far is that he has a broken leg and maybe a concussion. We are following up on this matter."
The details on the extent of his injuries, as another IOC spokesperson released a statement later saying the worker had two broken legs but was conscious and talking.
It's also not clear why the worker was on the ice, however, there was a short delay in racing as a crew was seen repairing a light fixture and picking debris off the ice before the accident.
Luckily things didn't turn out to be any worse, and hopefully they're able to prevent accidents like this from happening again!
