We hope Lamar Odom got some Spanish lessons from Pau Gasol during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers because he's gonna need them!!
The troubled basketballer is looking to make a comeback and will be taking his talents overseas to play for the Spanish basketball team Laboral Kutxa!
Lamar has agreed to a two month deal which could eventually extend to the remainder of the season, and the team's president Josean Querejeta says they're very excited to have him on their roster:
"We're very happy to have signed a very important player who has had a long and fruitful career in the NBA. We've worked very hard over the last couple of days to make this happen, we felt we needed a boost and had to break the collective cloud that has been hanging over us over the last while so we could get back to winning."
While Lamar was looking to make a comeback in the NBA, this could be the perfect stepping stone to get some quality playing time on the court and prove he still has the talent that made him one of the best sixth men in the league years ago!
In fact, multiple NBA players have played for Laboral Kutxa before making their way to the states, so maybe it will work out for him too!
Lamar could suit up and play as early as Saturday, so we guess we'll just have to wait and see if he still has what it takes to hang with the big boys!
