This is incredibly sad!
Last night, former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital after experiencing a shortness of breath.
According to spokesman Jim McGrath, George W. Bush's father:

Usually if you make someone cry, the very least you can do is offer a simple "I'm sorry."
Well, apparently NBC never got the memo! This past weekend, reporter Christin Cooper rubbed a lot of people the wrong way when she repeatedly asked Bode Miller about his deceased brother and made him cry in front of the camera!
"You'd be irresponsible not to tell that part of the story. That's what we do… People don't know these athletes; they don't know their sports."
Jim said he understood some of the reaction to the interview, but also said:
"We're fine with it and the guy who was the interview subject was fine with it. So I think that should be the end of it."
Wow! Why don't you tell us how you really feel??
Of course, Bode defended Christin and asked fans to go easy on her, and it technically is her job to ask these kinds of questions. But to bring it up multiple times until your visibly upset subject breaks down into tears? That seems a tad excessive to us!
