If there's one thing McDonald's does better than anyone else… it's getting sued.
When Webster Lucas went to the McDs in Pacoima, CA on January 29th, he said he only got one napkin with his Quarter Pounder Deluxe.
Anyone who's ever eaten that sandwich would know, one napkin probably isn't going to cut it.
That's when things turned ugly.
Lucas told him:
"I should have went to eat at the Jack in the Box because I didn't come here to argue over napkins. I came here to eat."
A perfectly reasonable thing to say.
The manager, then mumbled something about "you people."
Oh boy, wrong move buddy. Why you gotta bring racism into this??
Lucas, instead of lashing out in anger, emailed the general manager to complain, claiming he was targeted with an offensive comeback because he's black. He said he was unable to work because of the "undue mental anguish" he was suffering after the racially charged exchange.
He was only more insulted when they only offered him free burgers as compensation.
Lucas is now suing McDs for $1.5 million dollars.
We'll be innerested to see how this one plays out.
