Cap'n Crunch Is Watching You! Creepy New Study Finds Cereal Box Characters Are Actually STARING At Your Children!

New study shows cereal box characters are making eye contact with kids!

We don't think we'll ever be able to enjoy a bowl of Froot Loops the same way EVER again!!

Everyone knows the fun-loving characters like Toucan Sam and Cap'n Crunch who grace the boxes of some of our favorite cereals, but did you know they serve a fairly creepy function??

A new study conducted by Cornell University found that cereal targeted towards children were on average placed on shelves about 23 inches from the ground, which is lower than most "adult" cereals!

Nothing too surprising, right? Well what if we told you most of these boxes have characters that are looking down so they can make eye-contact with children!

Yeah, that's just plain creepy!

Studies have found that eye-contact builds a connection with the consumer and thus builds brand loyaltly, which basically means Toucan Sam is watching your kids so you'll buy more Froot Loops!

We think we'll stick with oatmeal from now on!

Start working at home with Google! Just work for few hours and have more time with friends and family. I earn up to $500 per week. It's a great work at home opportunity. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out. Linked here

What I find sad about this story is that it took a study at Cornell for people to realize this. Obviously these students never had to work when they were in high school because anyone who has ever worked at a grocery store could have told you that.

Re: AG55 – Interesting to know, thanks for the update to both you and Perez.
Personally I am not a cereal eater, had to eat it as a kid, Rice Krispies was my favorite.

Naturally, to illustrate your story, Perez, you pick a picture where the character DOESN'T look at the kids. :)
