We're only 4 weeks into Dancing With The Stars and we're already seeing more twists and turns than a M. Night Shyamalan movie! So let's not waste ANY time!
First of all, NOBODY was sent home this week after a handful of shocking eliminations!
Then, the always lovely Julianne Hough joined the judges table once again! And last but CERTAINLY not least, contests swapped their partners for the week in the partner switch-up!!
Candace Cameron Bure was the first to take the dance floor last night, and she made it clear that she did NOT want to be paired up with Tony Dovolani! So who did she get matched with? Tony Dovolani, of course!! Despite her initial hesitation, the duo turned out to be a great team as they did an all out Ballroom Blitz and pulled off a rockin' quickstep! While the judges praised their energy, they were the low scorers of the evening earning a respectable 28!
James Maslow did NOT hide the fact that he was upset about being away from his partner Peta Murgatroyd, but Cheryl Burke definitely filled her shoes as the two pulled off a super sexy tango that saw the duo do pretty much everything except make out on the dance floor! The Big Time Rush star continued his streak of high scores earning a 35 for the night!
After an emotional performance last week, Danica McKellar was right back to her sexy ways as she swapped Chmerkovskiy brothers and was paired with Maksim for a super fun jive that earned them a total score of 32!
Charlie White faced a bit of a learning curve as he had to take some time to get used to Peta's teaching methods! However, you wouldn't have known it once they hit the dance floor as they pulled off a very entertaining rumba! For one of the first times, Charlie wasn't one of the top scorers of the night as he only earned a 33, and if you ask us it's because he got rid of his curls!! BRING THEM BACK!!
Amy Purdy had to show her new partner Mark Ballas the ropes on how to dance with her prosthetic legs, and luckily Derek Hough was also kind enough to lend some advice! Once again she absolutely blew our minds and was one of the high scorers of the evening with a 34!
NeNe Leakes was perhaps the big winner of the partner swap as she was paired with the oh so sexy Derek Hough! The Real Housewife made the most of it too, dancing to Beyonce and proving that she's definitely a Grown Woman and earned a 32 for her afro jazz routine!
For as much as we loved seeing the sexual chemistry brewing between Maks and Meryl Davis, seeing her team up with his brother Val was almost as good! The gold medalist closed out the night on a high note with an absolutely mindblowing Argentine tango that earned her the highest score of the evening, but once again Len Goodman kept them one point from perfection as they earned a 39!
It was definitely fun to watch the contestants step out of their comfort zone for the week and swap partners, and they all rose to the challenge! However, we're definitely interested to see if there's any lingering jealousy with they return to their old sidekicks next week! We're looking at you, James and Peta!
Ch-ch-check out the rest of the performances (below)!
