David Beckham loves Scotch! Scotchy scotch scotch!
He loves it so much in fact that he’s signed on to be the spokesperson for Haig Club, a new whisky brand being launched by British booze company Diageo!
Haig Club is set to be available worldwide and in addition to Becks’ to-die-for face, customers will also recognize the bottle it comes in! Its shape resembles an aftershave bottle!
Hopefully it tastes better than a swig of Old Spice though! Especially with prices starting at around $65 a bottle!
Haig Club may be new but the parent company isn’t. Diageo's House of Haig happens to be Scotland's oldest grain-whiskey distiller, so they know a thing or two on how to make a good, stiff Scotch!
David shared how excited he was to be involved with this new endorsement, saying:
"I'm proud to be working at the heart of a homegrown brand which has built an incredible heritage over 400 years.”
Mr. Beckham isn’t the only name in entertainment getting in on the ground floor for this new drink though. American Idol executive producer Simon Fuller is also a partner in the launch!
There’s no word on how much money Beckham and Fuller are making on the deal or whether either had thrown in any individual investments.
But we’re sure the business meeting that they signed their contracts at ended with them raising a glass of Haig Club in celebration!
