After several straight days of rigorous cross-examinations, Oscar Pistorius will get a small break in his trial as he continues to try and prove his innocence in Reeva Steenkamp's murder!
Last week the former olympian took the stand and was grilled by prosecutor Gerrie Nel who attempted to point out some major holes and inconsistencies in his story to prove he knowingly shot and killed his girlfriend last year on Valentine's Day.
Well everyone will get a small break in the action as the state has requested the trial be postponed until May 5th as they prepare to question a handful of new witnesses.
The defense reportedly has 14-17 witnesses prepared to take the stand as soon as the trial resumes at the beginning of next month.
So far we've heard from Oscar and a handful of his neighbors as well as a few forensic experts, but it will be interesting to see if any new and useful information comes up. The trial is expected to last through mid-May.
