A year after losing his leg in the Boston Marathon bombings, a survivor has achieved his goal of walking again.
And what better way to prove that success than to do it down the aisle to marry the love of his life, his high school sweetheart??
Marc Fucarile and Jen Regan even tied the knot in a special ceremony at Fenway Park!
The 35-year-old roofer was the last survivor to leave the hospital following that tragic day. His lost his right leg, broke his left, suffered severe burns over most of his body and was pelted with shrapnel from the blast.
But after 49 surgical procedures, Marc is standing tall once again!
Now THAT is what we call inspirational!
The happy couple, who have a 6-year-old son together, had a wickedly awesome Beantown themed wedding, complete with Duck Tour busses to transport their guests to and from the stadium!
The entire ceremony was paid for by the charity Love Runs Through Boston after Jennifer wrote the organization a letter explaining hers and Marc’s situation.
And showing that they will not live in fear after that horrific event, they chose blue and yellow as their color theme - the very same shades used in the Boston Marathon!
Love it! Love them! Love everything!

Congratz, you two! We’re so happy for you!
