Kassim Ouma is a former pro boxing champion and possible homophobe who took "gay bashing" literally.
He was arrested for battery in LA on Friday after he knocked out man who allegedly made gay advances towards him. According to an insider, Ouma was just hanging out in Hollywood early Friday morning when he randomly started talking to a stranger.
He and the man must've hit it off immediately because they went back to the man's home for a drink. And that's when things got out of hand.
The man apparently made several advances and Ouma politely declined.
When he got up to leave the man apparently made a final move before Ouma had to shove him away. The shove quickly escalated to a fight and the guy was pretty quickly knocked out. That's awful!
The cops came and treated the victim at the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital. The man must've been pretty beat up because Ouma was arrested for felony battery causing great bodily harm.
What's weird to us, is why would he randomly go to a stranger's home for a drink early on a Friday morning?
Was he secretly looking for a little man-on-man action? Trying to "go the distance" with a solid opponent?
We have no idea, but this whole thing just reeks of strange. We hope that poor man he beat up makes a full recovery.
