Sir Michael Gambon is a seriously talented actor who most famously played Albus Dumbledore in the later Harry Potter movies.
No matter how skilled he is, he does have one big fear… the same fear shared by all actors:
Forgetting his lines.
Has someone used the obliviate spell on him?? LOLz!
He's so worried about his memory loss that he's had himself checked out by two doctors, looking for Alzheimer's disease.
As far as his diagnosis, Gambon said:
"The good news is that that's not the case. It's a real worry but there's not much I can do about it."
He's so afraid of missing a line that he pulled out of a 2009 National Theatre production of The Habit of Art by Alan Bennett.
Originally it was said he back out because of "ill health."
That's when he dropped a bombshell: he wears an earpiece when acting.
"A girl speaks into it to give me my lines."
Wow! We had no idea!
We're really just glad that he doesn't actually have Alzheimer's.
Then, an earpiece would be the least of his problems.
