There are some SHOCKING new details coming out of the ongoing NFL cheerleader protests!
The Buffalo Bills cheerleaders (known as the Buffalo Jills) are fed up not only with not getting paid, but the RIDICULOUS standards being placed upon them!
A guidebook given out to every girl on the squad has gone public and the contents inside are going to make your jaw drop!
WHAT THE FRIGGIN’ WHAT?!?
The patronizing rulebook comes from a company run by Stephanie Meteczun, who manages the squad. Ms. Meteczun has decided NOT to speak on the issue until she has her own legal counsel.
But the code of conduct laid out for these cheerleaders speaks for itself!
RULE #14 - Do not be overly opinionated about anything. Do not complain about anything- ever hang out with a whiner? It's exhausting and boring.
RULE #19 - Use "Oh my goodness" rather than "Oh my GOD”.
RULE #26 - Do not consume conversations & watch body language. Be aware of female companions and children. Always turn the conversation back to the other person. Never flirt!
RULE #30 - Always say "excuse me" when you burp, sneeze or cough. Even if you think there isn't anyone around.
The book also explains, in detail, the acceptable way to eat soup, stating:
"Dip the spoon into the soup, moving it away from the body, until it is about two-thirds full, then sip the liquid, without slurping, from the side of the spoon without inserting the whole spoon into the mouth. This prevents soup from being spilled onto your clothes."
And if instructing them how to eat wasn’t bad enough, the handbook then explains how they need to maintain their feminine hygiene!
Ch-ch-check out Rules 7, 11 and 12:
#7 - ALWAYS shower after a work out and change undergarments.
#11 - Intimate area's: Never use a deodorant or chemically enhanced product. Simple, non-deodorant soap will help maintain the right PH balance.
#12 - When menstruating, use a product that right [sic] for your menstrual flow. A tampon too big can irritate and develop fungus. A product left in too long can cause bacteria or fungus build up. Products can be changed at least every 4 hours. Except when sleeping, they can be left in for the night.
What in the wide, wide world of sports were they thinking printing out material as offensive as this?!?
The Jills have joined teams around the country now in hanging up their pompoms in protest! They’ve also filed a lawsuit seeking back pay and other damages.
As one Buffalo cheerleader explains:
"We were the laughing stock of NFL cheerleaders. We deserve to be compensated just like everyone else!”
Yes you do, girl!
And you also deserve to be able to do your job without having to abide by some stupid handbook! We’ll be cheering you on in court, Jills!
