I find the criticism, the media reaction, and the punishment utterly disproportional. Know many Blacks who express equally or more harsh opinions of whites. I ask myself in this moment: Can a man choose with whom he privately associates under American Constitution? The views expressed by Mr. Sterling were about his private life, not business.

Private life or not, it is sickening to know that there are owners of such sport teams to still have that kind of mentality. WHat would you say to that? a sick man? maybe he shouldnt be owning and profiting a team where he still have that plantation type of view towards his sport team? I find it utterly disgusting even if it it is private, and I wish these type of people shouldn't be allowed to be profited by his team, more or less, what about other people's rights under the American Constitution to be treated equal. You can keep the racist comments to yourself, it is your own opinion, but it is a double edge sword when the rest of the world is against it, own it up, you're wrong, you have the right to say the wrong thing, but you're still wrong.

Americans now have the freedom of speech of africans in africa. Becareful what you say in private. Mugabe might not like it.

Blacks are 78% of basketball players and whites less than 20%. Nothing racist about that. When it was the other way around.. it was considered racist. Had to fix it.

do you realize that if the NBA reduced the number of black players in basketball to create a more truly diverse sport that reflected what the country really looks like (more asian players, white players and Hispanic players).. they would be considered racist? Fear of being called racist is what keeps the NBA from creating a more inclusive sport.
