Ugh! Has this dude learned ANYTHING!?
Nearly a week after his horrifically racist conversation was leaked to the press, L.A. Clippers owner (for now) Donald Sterling has finally spoke out.
In an interview with DuJour.com, the small-minded billionaire expressed his regrets about how the controversial situation unfolded, but not the kind we were hoping for!
Donald didn't recant his ignorant, hateful comments about minorities AT ALL, instead he just admitted that he regrets not silencing his ex-girlfriend V. Stiviano by throwing money at her!
"I wish I had just paid her off."
Wait, WHAT?! After all of this, that's your wish? To have paid her off? Silenced her with your money?
Wouldn't you rather wish for enlightenment? A more tolerant world view? Or even something benign like a lifetime supply of pudding packs?
Sorry, Donald, but money is NOT the cure for all of life's problems!!!
The best way to avoid being banned for life by the NBA and censured by the entire world for racism is, well, abstaining from saying or doing racist things. It's that simple.
