donald sterling backs out barbara walters interview

Unfortunately, you can’t force people to talk.

Disgraced Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was set to be interviewed by Barbara Walters and Anderson Cooper, along with his girlfriend V. Stiviano yesterday, but he wouldn't go on camera!

The reason is simple: the racist owner reportedly “wasn’t prepared.”

However, Sterling did talk for awhile to Barbara and Coops, but he couldn’t bring himself to be filmed.

There's no word on if the interview has been rescheduled or not.

Womp, womp!

I don't see why he would do an interview. They will ask him if he is a racist - what's he supposed to say? He has already been completely vilified by the media, anything at all that he says about his philanthropist activities, or that his privacy being invaded will sound lame. In a country rife with racism, it sure is odd how shocked everyone is about this guy.

It is my belief that a group of people CONSPIRED to steal this mans basketball team. They couldn't have found an easier victim and old 82 year old jewish man with cancer still grieving over the death of his son a few months before. These people now line up like vultures about to devour his carcass. The audio is hard to listen to sounds like he is shaky, confused and jealous because this snake he's been supporting for four years keeps posing with all these other men. no excuse for the harsh words but his words don't justify whats been done to him and his entire family in a week. this is still America (I think) we have the right to free speech and I've never heard of a company being taken away from someone because the thought police don't like your words. Its a little Nazi scary.

    I agree!
Nothing else is going on in the world? The owner of a basketball team is racist?!? We must hear every single detail! Call Oprah, Samuel L. Jackson, Jimmy Kimmel and everyone else you can think of because we need everyone to give their opinion.
Have Lindsay Lohan interview that V. woman(?). That is an interview I would watch! They can argue over who deserves the most sympathy for their messed up lives, and that nothing is their fault.

Re: Randi Mann – Slave owners had sex with their slaves too and they were racist. Racism is actions, practices or beliefs, or social or political systems that consider different races to be ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other, based on presumed shared inheritable traits, abilities, or qualities.

Re: Peter Beaverhausen – slavery ended 169 years ago. really isn't it time to give up your slave mentality. Nazi Germany is a little closer comparison. take a rich old jew, vilify him and take away his property and of course vilify his entire family and take their property as well. this is closer to Nazism then it is to slavery. I really don't consider guys making 20 million to be slaves by playing basketball.
