how very PC. these young men are going to be sent to re-education camp (just like the commies do) to have their "thinking" corrected.

we live in a free world everybody does have their own opinions. it's become that if you don't accept gay you are wrong. but it's my opinion my believes. I respect everybody no matter who they are. but if I don't like something I would say it. That's why freedom of speech exist.

He's a great player and will kick your ass on the field. He made it this far off of skill and talent.

Re: Tiare – the queer guy? he's not that good, he probably got drafted in order for the league not to be called homophobes. lets all pray he fails and doesn't doom the Rams.

so in order to be employed or own anything in America we must now forfeit our 1st amendment right to free speech even in the privacy of our own home. I wonder if the welfare recipients act up if they will lose their food stamps? probably not right away but eventually when most of us are dependent wards of the state it will happen. study some history people, this is NOT progress this is repression.

I am a lesbian. I do not care about what heterosexual athletes think about homesexual athletes and vice versa. I do not see any thought police out patrolling yet. We all have a right to think whatever we want to think about other people's lifestyles. We also have free speech rights as well.

this is a free country. people are entitled to their own opinions even if not socially accepted. i personally do not agree with their opinions but i won't bully them to change their opinions to conform to what society thinks is right. free speech for ALL.

Sensitivity training ????? That sounds like some "thought modification" brainwashing shit. What is this country coming to ?????

Perez there are more important news to be reporting but since you're gay all you seem to post are very biased reports of gay people. There are more important issues going on and you just seem to care about calling out anyone who even slightly says something offensive about gay people. Everyone has the right to their opinion and you talking shit about people for feeling that way just makes you look stupid. No matter what the issue is, there will always be people agreeing or disagreeing so let this whole gay news go because it's getting annoying.

I am a lesbian (but) I do not care about what heterosexual athletes think about *homosexual* athletes and vice versa, I meant to say. We all can think whatever we want to think about each other's lifestyles. We are not sheep. We all have our own views and opinions about everything. That is reality. Deal with it.

No one's taking the 1st Amendment away, like some here like to insinuate.
You can still say whatever the fuck you like, BUT that does not mean that people have to shut up and not react to your comments. 1st ammendment also applies to them, even though you'd like to shut them up.

Society changes even if you don't like that. Society becomes more accepting of homosexuals.
I'd preffer for everyone to be equal so that i can ignore everyone equally.
If you don't want to see two guys /girls kissing on TV then you also have to forbid heterosexuals PDA on TV.
Personally…i don't like to watch either PDA. Holding hands is fine but kissing is already in the realm of intimacy for me.

everyone is certainly entitled to their opinions. However I've seen other athletes hug or even give each other a quick kiss after a win or a great play and nothing is thought of it, no disparaging remarks made. What I find offensive is this guy marshall's ridiculous story of his friends psychology experiment, or whatever he's claiming. the guy said some stupid things, his employer busted him for it and they came up with this ridiculous lie. if you're gonna throw the words out there don't try to unring a bell with your bullshit. how stupid does he think people are?

he only got drafted because he is gay. He had a terrible tryouts, look at all his numbers and statistics. the kiss was staged…duh!. Sadly, this is the new thing. Just like all the americcan idol and the Voice shows…etc, you have to keep the gay person on because if you do nto the "gay Mafia" wil protest and boycott. Congratualtions gays, you are huritng your cause. such hypocrites..

Re: LULU – Wait - you're a Neocon bitching about first amendment rights. Nobody's first amendment rights have been violated. Sure you can speak your mind but the first amendment doesn't protect you from the fallout from speaking your mind. Bitch and complain all you want - that's how it is. It has nothing to do with PC or anything else and everything to do with freedom of speech - on both sides. Deal with it honey - you can't just have it one way.

This guy is worst than the Sterling guy.

So people are no longer allowed to have opinions? And if they have one that isn't endorsed by the government the thought police come after them? When did this become a communist country?

Though I do not agree with the opinions of these athletes, I think that they are entitled to their opinions and should NOT be outcasted because of their beliefs. We live in America, where freedom of speech is a right. I can't believe people are caring so much about these athletes not accepting gay people. Let them be. It's is not like they are actually harming the gay community with these tweets.
