However, we were a bit shocked to hear Breezy was filing a lawsuit over a fight where HE was the real victim!
The legal battle stems from an incident last July when Chris was playing a pickup basketball game at a gym in LA. Malcolm Ausbon filed a lawsuit against the singer, saying he attacked him over a foul call and claimed to be a member of the Bloods!
Well Chris has since filed a counter-lawsuit claiming he's NOT responsible for the fight! In fact, he claims Malcolm knows this and only filed his lawsuit because he refused to cough up $250,000 to make the whole situation go away!
Malcolm's lawyer allegedly drew up a list of demands, saying:
"Mr. Ausbon believes $250,000 will suffice compensating him for his physical and emotional injuries … Mr. Ausbon is placed in a position by the LAPD where he needs to decide whether he will press charges for aggravated assault and battery… However, Mr. Ausbon prefers not to resort to filing these claims or the lawsuit. He would rather be compensated."
Wow! That's straight up extortion right there!
We all know that Breezy has a pretty extensive history of legal issues, and it definitely sounds like this guy tried to take advantage of it to get a HUGE payday!
Even by Chris Brown's standards, that's pretty low!
