If Donald Sterling is going down, he's going down swinging!
After the NBA handed him a lifetime ban along with a whopping $2.5 million fine, which is the largest in league history, the Los Angeles Clippers owner isn't playing ball as he's flat out REFUSING to accept his punishment!
Donald says he has no plan to cough up any of the dough he owes the league as he claims he technically didn't breach the NBA constitution and therefore should not be punished!
In fact, he's planning on suing the league for wrongful punishment!
There may not be a rule in the NBA constitution about saying nasty things or being a racist, but there IS a rule that says his ownership can be terminated if he doesn't pay up within 30 days!
It seems crazy that Donald is fighting the league here considering the Clippers are estimated to be worth $575 million, meaning he'd make a ton of money for selling the team! Not to mention he's already lost a ton of sponsors, and we're guessing there aren't many players or coaches in the league that will want to work for a team still owned by him!
Time to move on!
