Watch Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, & Cláudia Leitte Kick Off The 2014 World Cup With A Brazilliant Performance Of We Are One!

| Filed under: Music MinuteZportzJennifer LopezPitbullSoccer

Well that's certainly one way to get things started!

Today marks the beginning of the highly anticipated 2014 World Cup as Croatia prepares to take on Brazil in their own backyard!

But before the players took the field, Pitbull got things started with a little help from Jennifer Lopez and Cláudia Leitte as they performed the official song of the World Cup, We Are One!

The trio certainly did not disappoint as all of São Paulo was singing and dancing along! We're definitely glad JLo changed her mind and decided to perform!

Seriously, could we have asked for a better introduction to the biggest soccer tournament in the world? Probably not!

Ch-ch-check out the performance (above) as well as the three performers hanging out backstage (below)!

Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, and Claudia Leitte got the 2014 World Cup off to a good start!

People are making millions off of lip-synching and or singing out of tune. Sad but fact. Wake me when it's over zzzzzz

This was so boring. Sorry. I feel like if they would of had a real entertainer like Beyonce or even Michel Telo it would of been epic, but this was so bland. Sorry.

Please Perez, im brazilian and we hated this damn performance, hated this damn musica, and hate the annoying ass pitbull! This stupid music has nothing to do with Brazil. I was in the stadium and we definitely didn't sing or dance along their performance…we we're really bored actually. We didn't gave a damn if j lo was coming or not, was horrible anyway. And someone that really knows our culture knows that that kind of songs doesnt have nothing to do with us, and more…that we think claudia leitte one of the most annoying persons in the world.

Just go to youtube and see the brazilian comments and you will realize that!

It's really difficult to nail a performance with that many people in a stadium. It seemed like not one seat was unoccupied so while I'm not defending the lip synching, I knew it was bound to happen. It was far too big of a crowd. My only thing is, if you're going to lip synch, do it on cue. It was painful to watch. I felt like I was watching Britney.

Re: Raissa – Hey "chará" Raissa, say it to yourself. There were problems but I like it.
