Every four years, athletes from all corners of the earth gather to play the most popular sport in the world - soccer, er, football, er, kick rock in net game.

But before the players can take the field, we all must sit through a totally head-scratching ceremony to open the World Cup!

Well, Brazil did not disappoint in the WTF department. The show they put on in Sao Paulo today!

Here are the most bizarre moments that we spotted during the 2014 World Cup opening ceremonies!

It all started with a blossoming flower…that turned into the stage! Woah!

    A belgian lady was the artistic director of the show, not Brazilians. Brazil was not the responsible for it, but FIFA. Unfortunately, because we know about party very well.
