Following her return, the artist took a moment to thank everyone for their "prayers, love, and support" -- and especially the North Bergen Police Department for bringing her home safe.
Sharing a picture alongside the NYPD, Miz Quigley penned:
Hope Solo has one impressive resume. She was the goalie for the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team and won two Olympic gold medals, she's competed on DWTS, and has written a best selling autobiography.
But this latest news is something she's probably HOPING people will forget sooner rather than later!
Hope Solo has reportedly been arrested on domestic violence charges at her home in Seattle, Washington for an altercation that happened early Saturday morning. The star athlete apparently assaulted her sister and her nephew leaving them with "visible injuries" that occurred while "a big party [was] going on" that soon spiraled into an "out of control situation".
When the police arrived they found Solo "intoxicated and upset". After determining that she was the primary aggressor, they arrested her and she's being held without bail for two counts of domestic violence assault.
This isn't the first time that Hope Solo has been in a domestic violence situation, but last time it was her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, who was arrested for allegedly assaulting Solo.
The two got married the following day.
We'll keep you updated on Solo's status, but this is definitely one sad situation for everyone involved!!!
