beyonce donates mad money to homeless

Beyonce is the greatest thing on the face of the earth, in case you didn't know.

Sure, she's had some good times and bad times recently, but she always comes out on top!

We bet she draws her strength and happiness from helping others!!

She's always doing some philanthropic endeavor, but most recently, she went above and beyond! Queen Bey donated $7 million to build a low-income housing project for the homeless families of her hometown of Houston.

Her pastor, Rev. Rudy Rasmus, commented on all the amazing things Beyonce is doing for her hometown, saying:

"She's an incredible human being. Has an incredible heart and has been extremely helpful in our mission and our ministry here. She has a global platform and is doing some amazing work and I'm glad she's a friend of mine."

It's so amazing that she's giving back to her community!

With all the money people give her because they love her, she's giving some of it right back and that's amazing.

She's just the best! Way to give to those who really need it!

And that's her publicizing it. Not so charitable.

    tax write off

but, it's still a great gesture. and i hope it helps many, many homeless.

good on those two - think they are starting to realize the importance of giving back, in many ways it's their responsibility.

Re: Ana – actually she didn't say anything about it, the media found out and reported it, thats not her publicizing it, nice try. more charitable than you and ur entire family 3x combined

Re: awwwruff – actually its not their responsibility at all. and they have given back many many times.. and for u to say "tax write off" no.. even if it was they don't HAVE to do it

Re: Ana – STOP HATING. Beyonce can drop a pen on the floor and get press! When did it become a bad thing to give back? And correction, SHE is not publicizing it, the MEDIA is. Huge difference. This is what is wrong with society today.

People rather praise celebs who post 7 million dollars WORTH of luxury items on instagram to show off how fab their lives is - rather than praise the ones who actually give a shit and want to give back. Have a seat.

Amaizing! I'm happy that she's giving back to her community. Not many people remember where they came from after they become famous but Byonce is truly blessed. Godbless you Byonce for giving back to those you love. :) Let your actions inspire others to do the same whether they became famous or not. As long as they make it never turn their back on the place that gave birth to them. I hope to be doing the same thing in the future when I make it in life. Again Godbless have a wonderful day!

That's great to hear. All those who are making stupid comments about it being a tax write off need to go have several seats. Have u even ever volunteered in your life? But u can sit down in your basement and make insane comments behind your computer screen. Please be quiet.

This is exactly what I'm trying to do in St. Petersburg, FL I just do not have the funds. I have reached out to Walmart corp., Lennar homes, and KB homes. Only KB has respond with we receive your inquire and you will hear from us soon. That has been over a month and no word. Neither have I heard from the others that I made a plea to for help. God bless you queen bey!

    Re: awwwruff

I don't think they're starting to realize the importance of giving back, since they've been donating their money for years…..

Fantastic….more people in the industry should do,the same…Very Proud of her….pay it forward!

I don't think she's doing it for a tax write off. She'd get less back in taxes, compared to not dropping the money at all. Either way, anyway who says tax write off, is just trying to feel better about themselves, and how bad a person they are.

I have a story I would like to share with you. I will make it short. I am a 59yr. old woman who is in desperate need of some help. My father passed away 20yrs ago and left me his home. Right now I am living with my boyfriend who is disabled. I have no income but have applied for SSI. My point to this letter is I am unable to move into my daddy's home due to some repairs that have to be done. The city has sent me a letter stating that at 12% Ihave to pay $10,735.07 in two yrs. because part of the property was no good and tore it down. The only thing my daddy left me is about to be demolished What I need is a miracle in forms of organizations, volunteers or anyone who can find it in their heart to help a senior citizan in desperate need of help to keep daddy's home in the family. So im asking you, can you find it in your heart to help me?
