A person is selling a cupcake for $250 on eBay. Yes, you read that correctly, just ONE cupcake!
But, it's not just any cupcake! It's a Crumbs cupcake and is definitely a rare delicacy now!
On Monday, the beloved Crumbs Bake Shop Inc. announced that they were closing their gourmet doors for good after they got kicked out of the stock market.
eBay user briantmurray6, who claimed to have the last cupcake from Crumbs Bake Shop put his birthday flavored cupcake up for grabs on the auction website.
He describes the delectable treat:
"Crumbs is shutting its doors forever, leaving behind nothing but… well, crumbs. Except for this last, precious cupcake — the Holy Grail of confections from chain bakeries that have closed.
Bid on this still-delicious soon-to-be relic, and you'll be able to tell your grandchildren that you devoured the last Crumbs cupcake.
This cupcake was purchased at the Crumbs Bake Shop on 42nd Street. Little did Likeable Media know it would be the last "Birthday Cupcake" we ever purchased. Now we'd like to pass on the joy to you! We are going to freeze it to make sure it doesn't go stale. But best bet is to use the BUY IT NOW option."
The starting bid started off at $250 and was sold for a whopping $255.
INSANE! Guess whoever bought it really wanted the title of 'Person Who Ate The Final Crumbs Bake Shop Cupcake EVER.'
This totally takes us back to 2012 when the great Twinkie downfall was upon us!
