More Colorado Drivers Involved In Fatal Crashes Test Positive For Pot! After You Hear How Many TONS They're Selling A Month, You Won't Be Surprised!

Bet you'll never guess of much Mary Jane the state of Colorado is projected to go through this year…

Okay, don't break your bong. We'll spill the deets!

Since making recreational weed legal in the rocky mountain state, it's said that dispensary sales are on course to sell 130 metric tons ever year, which breaks down to about 10 tons a month!!

Holy cannabis moly!

Surveys revealed that most of the marijuana is consumed by heavy, more regular users — but casual smokers, as well as out-of-staters aren't uncommon, AND pay up to $220 per ounce.

But with increased sales, comes increased scrutiny!

A newly released study linking pot use to fatalities in car crashes has come out, and the results are less than ideal.

One study shows more drivers involved in fatal car accidents in Colorado are testing positive for weed usage — and the state happens to have the highest percentage of this occurring.

The study was put in place to "reflect a general increase in marijuana use during this … time period in Colorado," but we're pretty certain more like these will be performed, and stricter sanctions could be put in place!

After all, most are super curious how legal, commercially sold marijuana will impact the state.

Ugh, way to mess it up for the other states who want to legalize pot. Now politicians will use this data. Who would drive under the influence of any substance?? Valium, pot, alcohol or any other similar substance can really impair your driving skills. Screw them.

Such bullshit. THere are no more and no less people smoking weeding in Colorado. It's just in how you spin it, and it's being spun negative. People have been buying weed way before it was legal and ow it's an issue. Don't believe the BS. Because that's what it is is BS. 75% of America smoke weed, now they can do it legally. It's the only things that's changed.

For the sake of humanity!!! You morons, don't come here by pretending of being surprised by something that was a no-brainer at the outset.

The only reason for which your Government has decided to legalize this drug was only because they had to find, in the hurry, a way to bail out their state coffers empty of money. That is certainly only a TEMPORARY means for them to make money quickly on your back.

Marijuana stays in your system for roughly 30 days. It takes atleast a month without weed to test clean.
A little education goes a long way.

It being legal doesn't make it any less of an altering substance. Just like alcohol it's the idiots who get behind the wheel after consumption that are the problem.

Re: Aggravated – OMG please educate yourself. THC can stay in the system longer than that but the active ingredients do not. These drivers would possibly have been involved in fatal crashes without the weed. Were they they ones responsible for the accidents? Spin it how you want, but fucking booze kills and destroys families!

and where is the source to that study? the numbers? That's what I thought… BULLSHIT! If you smoke weed you know that it's not fatally dangerous to drive after smoking… these are just boggus stories to scare the population

They should take a poll on texting and driving and talking on the cell phone and driving and there would be more crashes because of that. This is just something someone came up with because they don't want other states legalizing it. What a joke and the dumb down ppl nowadays will believe this crap.

I highly doubt that the increase in accidents has anything to do with the victims being found with weed in their system, its funny only they are mentioned, and highly doubt they were the CAUSE of every single car accident. What are the other people doing who didn't test positive for weed? Drinking? texting? speeding? accidents usually aren't one sided
