Following her return, the artist took a moment to thank everyone for their "prayers, love, and support" -- and especially the North Bergen Police Department for bringing her home safe.
Sharing a picture alongside the NYPD, Miz Quigley penned:
Major burn from the minor-league baseball team Charleston RiverDogs!
The mass bonfire is being called Disco Demolition 2: You Better Belieb It, which is an homage to when the Chicago White Sox held a disco destroying night back in 1979.
RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols says they want to see an end to Biebs and Smiley putting out their pop hits!
He explained his team’s reasoning behind all of this, saying:
"Like so many, we have taken special exception to Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus's music along with his numerous run-ins with the law and her controversial performances. 'Disco Demolition 2' is dedicated to the eradication of their dread musical disease, like the original 'Disco Demolition' attempted to do. We are going to take Bieber and Cyrus's merchandise and memorabilia, put it in a giant box, and blow it to smithereens!”
Whoa. Buddy, calm down!
First of all, this isn't going to eradicate JB or MC’s careers. It’s going to take a lot more than a little fire in South Carolina to do that!
Second, what in tarnation does any of this have to do with baseball?? All the families who come out to your ballpark want to see is some guys playing the great game of America’s pastime! Not some violent display of musical destruction!
Echols said any fans that show up with Justin and Miley merch to blow up will receive a $1 ticket.
So, if you like minor-league baseball but hate Justin Bieber and/or Miley Cyrus, head on down to the Charleston RiverDogs game this weekend!
Just be prepared to stop, drop and roll when your flaming Bangerz album flies back at you!
