Ugh, it's absolutely tragic when anyone struggles with body image issues… especially when it happens in the public eye!

In a BRAVE interview with StyleLikeU, Tallulah Willis confesses to battling body dysmorphia, a mental disorder she was diagnosed with at the young age of 13.

For those who don't know, body dysmorphia is when a person believes his or her appearance is worthy of hiding or fixing. Body dysmorphia is considered an illness when the affected person thinks about his or her flaws for at least one hour per day.

Talluah blames her disorder on the tabloids that focused on her personal insecurities.

Bruce and Demi's youngest daughter confesses:

"I started starving myself and losing a bunch of weight and I got down to like 43 kilos. When I lost my curves and when my boobs shrivelled up into nothing and I had no shape. It put me in even more of a cage."

Ugh, we hate to hear how terribly Tallulah struggled!

The ONLY positive thing about this tragic situation is Tallulah's commitment to spreading awareness about the disorder. To promote self-acceptance, Tallulah stripped down to her skivvies to prove just how comfortable she is in her own skin!

Check out Tallulah's courageous interview and nakedness below!

We're SO glad Tallulah was able to conquer her inner demons!

I think these girls have such a low image of themselves because their mother wasn't a mom she was a competitor.

While I do feel for her position - no child should grow up having their looks so heavily scrutinized, I am getting sick of this prevailing idea that in order for a girl to display confidence, or be secure in herself, she has to take her clothes off. How about instead of all this navel gazing you go out into the world and find a worthy cause or passion that is not about your body! These entitled kids can do anything they want, but they rarely take advantage of that in a good way. (And Tallulah - please stop saying 'and like')

Very touching interview. She's definetly a very well-spolen, sympathetic and beautiful girl.
I have to say that it seems a bit odd, Perez, that you feel for this girl and her bad self-image when you were one of the worst cyber bullies. I remember your "potato face" tirade against her sister. Well, when that's said, it is definetly good to see that you have changed! Well done!

Sounds more like anorexia than BDD. Both deal with distorted body image but those with anorexia are underweight.
