Restaurant Gives Diners 15% Discount For Praying Out Loud Before Their Meal! Do YOU Think You Would Do That??

| Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueInspirationFoodHealthCrazzzzy

receipt for praying in public gets money off bill

When we hear a story about an interesting restaurant receipt, we assume it's going to go one of two ways:

Someone left a HUGE tip or someone wrote some racist sh*t on that receipt.

This time? A family received a surprise 15% discount… for praying!

That's right, Mary's Gourmet Diner in Winston-Salem, North Carolina offers a 15% discount for "Praying in Public."

The owner, Mary Haglund, said the discount is less about religion and more about getting diners to show a little gratitude for their food. That's actually a really great idea and we have no problems with it!

Showing a little gratitude for your food is never a bad thing.

Check out the video (below) to see some proof that yes, this is a real thing… and let us know:

Would YOU pray in public just for a discount??

I'm not religious but I don't see it as a problem at all.
Hell, if all I have to do is pray to get a discount then I would not hesitate.

that's why we need legislation in order to separate everything, including business and government, from religion. this is blatant discrimination against atheists and other groups. a business should treat ALL it's customers equally.

If you're an atheist and you thank the people who prepared the food, does it still count?

  5. 5

No, when I pray it is between me and the Lord, sorry, will have to do without the discount.
