He should be the head of a country or something!
Oh, wait… LOLz!
Prince Harry made his way to the Invictus Games on Sunday night, where he gave a riveting speech to the servicemen and women in the crowd, as well as the fans!
The international Paralympic-style games were drawing to a close, so the fellow serviceman gave a speech, saying:
"[The games] shone a spotlight on the unconquerable character of servicemen and women and their families – their Invictus spirit. These games have been about seeing guys sprinting for the finish line and then turning round to clap the last man in. They have been about teammates choosing to cross the line together; not wanting to come second, but not wanting the other guys to, either. These games have shown the very best of the human spirit."
And that's not all! Harry read some comments from "Granny," aka Queen Elizabeth! She said:
"Warmest good wishes and congratulations to you all… [The competitors] have used the power of sport to enhance your own recovery and to raise wider awareness of the enormous challenges faced by wounded veterans."
Harry also looked forward to the future, saying that he wanted to hold the games somewhere "up north" outside of London, and that the USA had offered to host them in the future as well!
And after all of the speeches were done, and all participants received a medallion, the five-hour show commenced with a concert from the Foo Fighters, along with performances from Ellie Goulding, James Blunt, and Bryan Adams!
It sounds like the games ended with the same strong spirit that they started with!
P.S. HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY, HARRY!!!
