University Of Washington Students Design A Smart Bracelet That Will Alert Your Friends If You've Had Too Much To Drink

Wow, we're so impressed by these University of Washington students!

A group of students at the University of Washington just presented a non-working prototype, called Vive, at this year's design expo at Microsoft's Research Faculty Summit.

Vive has sensors attached that can detect how drunk and/or dehydrated you are which is super helpful for a night out on the town. In addition to those cool features, the band connects to smartphones so you can use it to interact with other people.

Not only is this device fun, but it's SAFE. Throughout the night, the band will check-in via vibration and if you don't respond, an alert will go out to your friends.

We think this invention is AH-MAZING and we hope it becomes a reality soon!!

Trust me, my friend's will NOT need a bracelet to tell when I have had too much to drink. It will be apparent, very much so.
