While there's still over a week to go before we officially hit Halloween, the spirit of the haunted holiday came early this year all thanks to The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again.
The FOX made-for-TV musical movie finally followed in Grease: Live's footsteps Thursday night, and we have to say… we were impressed!
It's been about ten months since FOX first entered the made-for-TV musical movie realm with Grease: Live, but they went full-on film for The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again on Thursday.
While Laverne Cox, Ryan McCartan and Annaleigh Ashford seriously stole the show, who would we be if we didn't give credit to the standout performances from Victoria Justice, Staz Nair, Reeve Carney, or Ivy Levan?!
While the trio is undeniably the focus of the musical remake, the event's most iconic number, the Time Warp, is actually performed by three of the show's secondary characters — Columbia, Riff-Raff, and Magenta — with the rest of the cast as backup.
Soundtrack producer Cisco Adler explains just how important it was getting Time Warp right:
"'Time Warp' is obviously the cornerstone to this soundtrack. Had to get it right but still had to flip it a bit, so we took it down south. You could say it's just a jump to the left…"
But if you don't think you can handle waiting until it premieres on Thursday, October 20… then you're in luck — The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again soundtrack will be out the next day, October 21 — and will be available for preorder on Tuesday, August 16 on iTunes!

But the great cause goes beyond a tribute and awareness as all of the proceeds for the song, which was released by Interscope Records, will benefit the Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, GLAAD, and the LGBT Community Center of Central Florida!

Considering A.L. is a former American Idolstar (he also appeared on AI as a guest judge last year), we imagine he'll be a great fit for the role. It will also be interesting to see how the singer and Iggy act towards each other — they're both self-admitted divas, after all!
So, without further ado, check out the 34-year-old's announcement (below)!
"My metabolism actually changed like crazy this year. I have Hashimoto's disease. It's a thyroid disease, and it's now been two years since taking the medication for it, so for the VS show I didn't want to lose any more weight, I just want to have muscles in the right place, and if my butt can get a little perkier, then that's good."
