This is incredibly sad!
Last night, former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital after experiencing a shortness of breath.

She's still down with Adele!!
After releasing the audio track of her Rolling in the Deep/Ain't No Mountain High cover this week, Miz Aretha Franklin has been making her late night TV rounds.
She stopped by David Letterman on Monday to perform the jam — but instead of listening to the song, we were totally distracted by one of her stage-mates…
Specifically, the familiar looking woman to the left!
Since we've got extensive diva knowledge, we had a feeling there was a famous face among the soul queen that evening — and it's none other than Whitney Houston's 81-year-old momma Cissy, singing backup!
First off, we're just so happy to see the gospel songstress is out, about and working these days. She looks just wonderful! But still, we couldn't help but notice her disinterest in the performance, which is odd especially since she's been singing backup for Aretha since the mid-1960s.
Maybe she's just not a fan of Adele! But — who doesn't love Adele?!
Ch-ch-check out the song (above) and try and guess Miz Houston's emotions throughout! It's pretty great!

Aretha Franklin is arguably one of the greatest female vocalists of all time…
So when we heard a living friggin' legend would be covering our queen Adele, we couldn't be more thrilled!
Lady Soul decided to take on the pop star's hit Rolling In The Deep — but make it her own, by adding additional riffs and some Ain't No Mountain High Enough lyrics in the end!

Wonder how it feels to lose to a baby… HA!
Fine, Adele technically won the lawsuit against Corbis Images UK, but it's all for her son, Angelo!
The Rolling In The Deep star is getting a 5-figure settlement from a British photo agency after she sued them for ruining her son's "milestone moments!"
According to the case, Adele sued the agency for intruding on her baby boy's first family outing and taking pictures of a private family gathering.
In the lawsuit, Adele claims celebrity offsprings aren't public property — which is true! They didn't come into this world to be a source of entertainment for the public!
Basically her point that the paparazzi may invade her privacy because she chose to have a career in the spotlight, but they have no right to invade the little one's privacy and it worked!
Mainly because the privacy laws in England are a lot stronger than they are in the U.S.
The photog agency settled the case by ponying up the sum to the order of one Adele Adkins!
