The ladies of the BET Awards don't get to have all the fun attention!
Nope. The guys also flashed their smiles and stylish suits on Sunday night, leaving the majority of men in Hollywood (and their boring black suits) in their dust!
Let Marcus Scribner, Tyrese Gibson, and Charlie Wilson be your teachers!
The Black-ish star effortlessly rocked a printed red blazer with tailored trousers, all while Tyrese easily switched things up with a cream tux. Yet none of them went as bold as the iconic singer in his paisley jacket and silky satin pants!
Though even with all the dapper dudes, there were still guys like Chris Brown wearing shorts on the carpet. Ch-ch-check his casual outfit out (below)!
If you love Empire as much as us, then get ready for so many minutes of perfection!
The cast of the hit show took the stage at the BET Awards, including Jussie Smollett, Yazz, and Serayah!
Then there was a moment of complete randomness when Juicy J performedFor Everybody during the medley! Remember that one time when he was on the show?! WE DO!!!
And there was an extra special moment when Jussiereferenced the Supreme Court's ruling of legalizing same sex marriage, as well as when he alluded to the tragedy in Charleston, noting how none of us are free until we're ALL free.
Ch-ch-check out the performance and heartfelt love (below)!
Though there's another side to Aly, which she reveals in the interview:
"Every day is a challenge. Even though at the 2012 Olympics we were so happy to win the gold medal, every day is not like that. I think people don't understand that; people don't see that side of the sport – the frustration, how much it takes a toll on your body, and mentally as well."
We can only imagine!
But she hasn't ruled out the next Summer Olympics! She confessed:
"I'll be 22 in the Olympics year. If I make the team, I'll be the oldest U.S. gymnast. My body is a little bit more achy than it was before, but at the same time I feel like I'm smarter now and able to understand the recovery process. I always joke that I'm 21 going on 50."
Older, but clearly wiser! And she's even applied that to her own body confidence!
"I've never had an eating disorder, and I'm proud of that... instead of being insecure about my muscles, I've learned to love them. I don't even think of it as a flaw anymore because it's made me into the athlete that I am. I think imperfection is beauty."
