At just 19 years old, Lauren Hill knows all too well that time is precious, and she's making the most of every single second she has left.
It was about a year when the Mount St. Joseph University freshman was feeling a bit off after basketball practice and decided to go see the doctor. That's when they discovered a cancerous tumor in her brain and estimated she only had about 12 months left to live.
However, Lauren has not only managed to stay optimistic throughout the experience, she's also viewing it as an opportunity to teach others to make the most out of every moment we have, because tomorrow is never guaranteed:
We've been following the very intricate story of Brittany Maynard, the woman who's choosing to die with dignity instead of succumbing to her cancer.
It seems as though she's still trying to make the most of her last days and is crossing off some pretty cool things off her bucket list.
The 29-year-old and her family just went to the Grand Canyon, and that's not even the most extreme trip she's made since her brain cancer diagnosis.

Brittany spoke to People about her trip, saying:
Though Brittany Maynard's life may draw to a close on November first, it's clear her legacy will live on in the work she has done for the Death with Dignity movement.
On Wednesday, 29-year-old Brittany published what sounds like will be her last post on the Brittany Maynard Fund website. Though she doesn't explicitly express that this will be her last writing before November 1st, the emotional tone of the piece suggests this may be the final time we hear from this courageous woman.

To this day, despite 12 rounds of chemotherapy and 28 rounds of radiation, it's ongoing — and holy crap nobody should ever have to go through that.
But Noah is STRONG.
Noah's neighbor, Ryan Zimmerman, was so taken with his love for the Royals that he raised 10,000 DOLLARS so the little boy could
