Finding Dory dominated the box office this weekend — which was more or less expected.
But what NOBODY expected was just how much money it racked up. We're talking Biggest. Animated. Opening. Ever!!!

That's right — the sequel to Finding Nemo set an ALL-TIME box office record for an animated film's opening weekend when it pulled in $136.2 million over the last couple days in theaters!!
That total absolutely blows by the previous record holder, Shrek The Third, which did $121.6 million back in '07.
It also blows by Toy Story 3 — which had previously been Pixar's highest-grossing animated film on an opening weekend when it did

Jimmy Fallon obviously loves to have fun with his guests, which is why he couldn't pass up the opportunity for a goofy sketch when Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson stopped by to promote his upcoming flick Central Intelligence!
Normally, the Saturday Night Live alum plays a game with the celebs that swung by, but Thursday night he decided to get his "Ermahgerd" on with Johnson while they attempted to hit on girls at Prom. LOLz!

After they got done goofing around, Jimmy called Dwayne out on the fact that he hadn't had candy since 1989… and then actually got him to eat some!
Of course, the silly stars also took a moment to play with a giant gummy worm in the dirtiest of ways.

Disney is currently riding high thanks to an impressive showing at the box office with Zootopia, so it should be interesting to see if they can recreate that magic with their next animated movie.
We haven't seen too much of Moana — starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and newcomer Auli'i Cravalho — just yet, but on Sunday, the House of Mouse debuted its first teaser trailer for the animated adventure!

Fans of traditional toons will be happy to know that the clip features both classic and computer generated animation… so there's a little bit of something for everyone!
The video doesn't give too much of the plot away, but it definitely looks like The Rock will be stealing the show!

Poor Liam Hemsworth — what a tough life!
The hunky Australian actor went on The Graham Norton Show Friday night, and while sitting between Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Jeff Goldblum, he revealed some the most difficult on-set experiences he's ever had!

The Independence Day: Resurgence star dished to Graham that when he was on the set of Expendables 2, working alongside legendary action star Jean Claude Van Damme, he experienced just a bit of pain thanks to a "controlled" kick to the chest!
The way Hemsworth tells it — and Norton and Goldblum both insinuate — JCVD is freakin' crazy on set — and while we feel bad Liam got hurt during the filming, at least it makes for a funny story!
