NFL Star Johnny Manziel Indicted On Assault Charges In Beating Of Ex-Girlfriend

The quicker they rise, the harder they fall.

Johnny Manziel shot to fame in his college career and early in his NFL days the last few years with the Cleveland Browns, but now it's increasingly looking like the sacked quarterback may not get up for the next play.

On Tuesday morning, as we previously reported might soon be the case, Manziel was officially indicted by a Dallas grand jury on a misdemeanor assault charge related to domestic violence.

Back on January 30, Manziel allegedly struck then-girlfriend Colleen Crowley multiple times and threatened to kill her, according to police and a complaint from Crowley.

But the signal caller is back in the huddle with defense attorney Jim Darnell, and the lawyer is adamant his controversial client will be cleared:

This is so sad.

Former New England Patriots defensive lineman Ron Brace died over the weekend at his home in Springfield, Massachusetts due to unknown causes. He was just 29 years old.

The big defensive lineman played for the Patriots from 2009 to 2012 before joining the Washington Redskins. Now, his former team has given an official statement about his passing.

If you remember around this time last year, Tom Brady was suspended for four NFL games due to the whole "deflategate" thing.

Despite winning his original case, the New England Patriots quarterback is facing his suspension once again, as the league decided to appeal the original court decision!

On Monday, a federal appeals court, made up of a three-judge panel, officially ruled that the Pats player WILL have to serve the four-game suspension that was originally handed out by the league. This of course overturns a lower judge's decision that originally sided with Brady.

In speaking about the ruling and the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, the appeals court said:

This all must have been a long time coming…

Johnny Manziel is currently making headlines for refusing to enter rehab, but it sounds like his downfall has been in the works for a while.

That's because it was just revealed on Wednesday that Nike dropped the 23-year-old quarterback sometime after the 2015 NFL season, despite only just partnering with him in 2014!

Nike spokesman Brian Strong confirmed they fired the athlete way back on March 11 of last year, almost immediately after he finished rehab the first time.

As you may recall, Johnny's manager Drew Rosenhaus also dropped the former Cleveland Browns QB on Tuesday, and now we understand why — he wasn't making any money!

All of this combined with his pending domestic abuse case must be taking its toll on Johnny Football…

Disgraced NFL Quarterback Johnny Manziel Officially Dropped By ANOTHER Agent After Failing To Go To Rehab

It's been a long, hard decline for NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel — and now we're just hoping he gets the help he needs.

The former Cleveland Browns QB has officially been dropped as a client by his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, five days after Rosenhaus gave Manziel an ultimatum to go to rehab and get clean, or walk away from the business partnership.

Manziel, who has had repeated drug and crime issues off the field in his tenure as an NFL quarterback, did not check into a treatment facility of any kind; so now Rosenhaus officially walked away from his now former client.

Last Wednesday, Rosenhaus initially handed down the ultimatum:
