Britney Spears can really rock a cast!

On May 1, Brit shared the first snap of her sprained ankle, an accident which caused her to cancel two of her Las Vegas shows.

In the adorable yet sad pic, Brit can be seen posing in what appears to be a huge and black cast.

The singer captioned the photo:

"This boot was made for walkin."

You tell em, girl!!!

We wish Spears the speediest recovery EVER and we can't wait until she's back werkin' it on stage!

As we reported, on Monday evening, Derek Hough was rushed to the ER due to an injury he got while rehearsing for Dancing With The Star's 10th anniversary special.

A source said he severely sprained his ankle, broke his toe, and sustained possible ligament damage.

So what does this mean for the dancer's future on the ABC show?

Well it's definitely uncertain.

Ouch! Man Tears A Tendon In His Thumb From Playing Too Much Candy Crush — But He Didn't Feel The Pain Until Long After He Was Done!

You might have heard of "texting thumb" before — when your thumb starts to hurt from too much texting.

Now, the first case of "gaming thumb" has been reported when a man in California tore a tendon in his thumb after repetitively playing a game on his smartphone!

This type of injury is usually very painful, but the 29-year-old didn't notice the pain while was playing the addicting puzzle game Candy Crush Saga.

This supports the theory that video games could numb people's pain, which can result in video game addiction! Dr. Andrew Doan, the head of addictions research at Naval Medical Center San Diego had this to say:

Oh, Canada!

Ryan Reynolds was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run on Friday night at The Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver!

Apparently, Ryan was walking through the hotel's parking garage when a paparazzi hit him and proceeded to drive away, although there were reportedly no injuries involved.

Following the accident, the 38-year-old actor's reps released a statement, saying:

Gay Man Beaten In Hate Crime… But His Attacker Was Bisexual?? The FBI Is Stepping In To Sort Things Out

Devin Norman is a 26-year-old gay man who was brutally beaten, simply for being gay.

But now there are conflicting reports. Now, more details are emerging and the FBI is getting involved!!

It all went down in the town of Corinth, Mississippi when James Scott, 23, brutally beat Devin Norman in a Walmart parking lot. That part is not really in dispute. But the 'why' is.

He allegedly came out of nowhere and attacked Devin, screaming homophobic slurs at him and kicking him repeatedly.

Police eventually caught and arrested Mr. Scott, who was charged with simple assault. Due to the serious nature of Norman's wounds, people were outraged the charge wasn't "aggravated assault." It was eventually upgraded from "simple" to "aggravated" after police realized Norman had broken bones.

What upset people the most, though, was that LGBT people have no hate crime protection under Mississippi law. So James Scott was going to get off pretty easy compared to what could've happened.
