Someone really doesn't want this movie to come out!
Following Tuesday morning's threats of 9/11 style terrorism attacks on movie theaters that screen The Interview, Landmark Theatres just announced that they have canceled the film's New York City premiere!
Seth Rogen & James Franco Cancel All Upcoming Public Appearances After Sony Hackers' Terrorism Threat
The stars shrugged off their personal leaks and lamented those of Sony's many employees.
But now that the hackers have gone from releasing info to full-on domestic terror threats, the comedy stars are getting serious.
Both Seth and James have reportedly cancelled all upcoming appearances up to Thursday's NYC screening of their movie The Interview.
The pair were scheduled to appear
This is just horrible!
The Sony hack has released all kinds of information, from unkind emails to the personal information of people who work there.
Well, this is a whole new level of seriousness.
The comedy pokes fun at North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un, which is leading people to believe that the country is behind the hacks, although they've denied it, while still praising the hackers.
The message reads:
Seth Rogen is just a funny guy with a bunch of filmmaking talent, trying to make people laugh.
Seth and James Franco stopped by Good Morning America this week to promote their new movie The Interview, as if they needed to.
The film has been stirring up controversy ever since hackers started calling it "the movie of terrorism." Is Rogen scared? Does he believe he is partly responsible for the hack?
But are they getting romantical for realz?
Howard Stern just had to know, so he asked James point blank if he had ever slept with the Summertime Sadness singer.
James said they were just friends and swore they had never even kissed.
Of course Howard couldn't accept that as an answer; he had to know WHY James wouldn't pursue such an "exciting" talent! James responded:
This has to be one of the best overall musical artist performances this year!
The first surprising thing was that Miz Minaj didn't perform her mega hit Anaconda, but instead opted for her song Only (above), and then added Skylar Grey to the stage for Bed of Lies (below).
Both performances were fantastic, but we can't forget the other memorable moment when Nicki joined Weekend Update as Kim Kardashian, explaining what was behind her nekkid Paper magazine spread.

Saturday Night Live's ratings are basically a roller coaster, but they were back up, thanks to last night's show!

This was the second highest rated episode of the year, behind Chris Rock and Prince's episode.
