The TV personality revealed:
"I actually do have the cancer gene. My mom made all of us get tested after she found out that she had it and got her double mastectomy."
If y'all don't remember, Kelly's momma, Sharon Osbourne, survived colon cancer (which had spread to her lymph nodes) back in 2002 against a 33% survival rate prognosis. Obviously, the subject of cancer is a sensitive topic for Kelly.

Guests including Black Eyed Peas bandmate apl.de.ap and galpal Kelly Osbourne enjoyed the shindig's Old Hollywood theme, and danced the night away to tunes spun by DJ Richie Rich!
In fact, the former Fashion Police host snapped a photo of the bday girl — who wore a gorgeous white silk one-shoulder gown — on her Instagram and added the caption:

CBS's The Talk and ABC's The View are two sides of the same coin.
That means one of them is always going to land on top, and this time… it's The Talk!
This is actually the first time The Talk has come out on top in two major categories in the same week: the 'women 18-49' demographic and total viewers!!
At the end of last week, The Talk's 2.61 million viewers beat out the The View's
How the mighty have fallen!
Despite being E!'s go-to red carpet girl, it seems as though Giuliana Rancic won't be appearing on Fashion Police anytime soon.
That's because the entertainment network announced on Tuesday that it has decided to postpone the upcoming episodes until September!
As you probably know, Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin both left the series following G's distasteful Zendaya comments, but the show was still set to go on.
New episodes were supposed to resume with Giuliana and Brad Goreski as the panel on March 31, but that's no longer the case according to a statement from E!, saying:
Did Kathy Griffin resign from her hosting job at Fashion Police because she was getting fired?
Sources close to production say the comedienne — who only lasted seven episodes — angered the staff by rejecting ideas and badmouthing the show.
And while the 52-year-old spoke fondly of her short stint in her resignation tweet — Kathy reportedly wanted to quit three times. Producers had talked her into staying by promising they'd let her do her own brand of comedy, but those promises ended up being empty.
Would this count as a fashion faux pas?
We were pretty surprised on Thursday when Kathy Griffin announced that she was quitting Fashion Police… but we're even more surprised by the news that the E! series is going to continue with only two of its hosts!
As you probably know by now, after Giuliana Rancic made those distasteful Zendaya comments, Kelly Osbourne promptly quit over the racist controversy, leaving just G and newbie Brad Goreski on the panel.
And while the future of Melissa Rivers' show seemed bleak, the entertainment network revealed that it has no plans of cancelling the stylish show!
