Ben Affleck and Matt Damon continued their enviable, long-running bromance as they grabbed coffee and stopped by a studio in Los Angeles Tuesday.

Benny looked rather glum and scruffy (like he hadn't even brushed his hair!), and it appeared that Matt was maybe trying to console him a little.

The Oscars need to do something to liven up the show — and producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd, tasked with putting together the 89th event next February, already seem to know it!
The pair is already in the planning stages of the show, which will air on ABC on February 26, 2017, but they recognize that after this year's very, very low ratings, something has to change!

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, De Luca and Todd dished a LOT about what they expect will change this coming year, and even though they are still looking very early at how to make that happen, they are dropping hints left and right!
One of the biggest?? A shorter show!!!
De Luca spoke about that specifically:
