On Tuesday, musician Justin Lowe was found dead near the St. Croix River in Minnesota by a hiker. Lowe was the founding guitarist for the metalcore band After the Burial and had been missing since Saturday.
The guitarist was 32-years-old at the time of his death. Tragic.
However, it's implied by the fellow members of ATB that their bandmate was struggling with an unspecified mental illness. In June, Lowe announced on Facebook that he would be leaving the rock group.
The band later responded:
"This is a very sad and hurtful situation for us to grasp, and unfortunately it is one we still don't fully understand. Our dear friend, our brother onstage and off, has fallen into a very broken state of mind. A state that, despite our continued efforts, we have been powerless to get him out of."
Whoa! The group's site also noted that the founding member had gone missing before.
On Tuesday, Tracy Morgan was spotted walking around in New Jersey sans cane and without the help of another person.
This development is certainly an improvement in the star's health after he received major injuries from a tragic accident last year. In fact, the 30 Rock actor was confined to a wheelchair for months following the incident and even needed the aid of a cane just earlier this year.
Though the Saturday Night Live alum's physical injuries may be healing, it appears that the funnyman is still struggling with the emotional trauma of the accident. The crash resulted in the untimely death of his friend James McNair.
In a recent interview, Tracy shared:
We just hope he's getting the help he needs!
Lately, Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Well now, he's at least taking action.
Recently, the sci-fi actor has checked himself into rehab — for the second time this year — following a bizarre incident where he smashed a window with his bare hands.
According to police, on July 3, Brendon allegedly got into an argument with a woman which lead him to punch said window.
After the thespian fled the scene, firefighters arrived and then discovered him in an alleyway with bloody hands.
The troubled performer was then taken to a hospital and no arrests were made.
Three days after this incident, Brendon admitted himself into a treatment center.
As we reported, he sought professional help in June for problems relating to depression, alcoholism, and substance abuse.
We wish Nicholas the best with his recovery.

On Sunday, Jared Padalecki felt the love from his fans at Comic-Con when the audience paid an illuminating tribute to his battle against depression.
The 32-year-old was almost speechless when over 7,000 fans unexpectedly lit candles during the Supernatural panel to support his Always Keep Fighting campaign — which supports people struggling with depression, addiction or mental illness.
When the moderators opened up the floor to audience questions, fans raised electric candles in the air (above) and shouted out: "Always keep fighting!"
The actor, who previously revealed he has been battling depression for seven years, was overwhelmed by the fan tribute, telling the crowd:
It had been right in front of our eyes all along!
That's because on Season Two of Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, Khloé Kardashian interviewed Forensic Specialist Dr. Helen Morrison about serial killers, and got a lot of insight into how Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy's brain operates.
In fact, Khloé pretty much learned that Scott displays all of the signs of a Sociopath!
Dr. Morrison described a sociopath as someone charming and well-dressed who can manipulate any situation around them… Does it sound like Scott to U?
Ch-ch-check out Khloé find out the truth about Scott way back in 2010 (above)!!!
After a tumultuous year, Nicholas Brendon is finally asking for help.
As we reported in May, the former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star was arrested for the THIRD time this year for an incident involving substance abuse.
Although the 44-year-old checked himself into rehab early last month, it appears he is still in dire need of professional coaching.
And he is asking for celebrity physician Dr. Drew!
On Saturday, the actor went on Twitter to ask his many followers to help him get in touch with the TV personality.
