Paul Walker's fatal accident back in 2013 sent shockwaves through Hollywood, though there was probably no one more affected by his death than his daughter Meadow Walker.

Since the actor's passing, Meadow and the Walker family have been through quite a bit as both Paul's father and daughter filed lawsuits against Porsche over problems with the Porsche Carrera GT that the Fast and the Furious star was riding in with driver Roger Rodas.

In a complicated turn of events a judge decided to throw out Rodas' widow's wrongful death lawsuit earlier this week. However, Meadow has continued to fight on — and she just got a pretty big win.

Paul's little girl was just awarded $10.1 million as a settlement deal from Rodas' estate. Jeff Milam, the 17-year-old's lawyer, opened up to People about the ruling saying:

Paul Walker's Daughter Responds To Porsche's Legal Victory In The Roger Rodas Case! Find Out Why She's Still Fighting For Her Late Father!

Porsche may have scored a victory in the case of the crash that killed Paul Walker, but his daughter isn't giving up the fight just yet.

As we previously reported, a judge threw out the lawsuit filed by the family of the man driving during the deadly accident, Roger Rodas.

While this seems like it would be bad news for the Fast & Furious star's daughter, Meadow Walker — who is also suing the car company for the wrongful death of her famous father — the teenager's lawyer, Jeff Milam says it doesn't affect her complaint, writing in a statement:

"Today's ruling by a federal judge in favor of Porsche Cars North America against Rodas has no effect on Meadow Walker's lawsuit that is pending against Porsche AG, Porsche Cars North America, and Beverly Hills Porsche in Los Angeles Superior Court."

In fact, the 17-year-old's legal rep claimed that the differences in the details between Roger and Paul's deaths show that the manufacturer is to blame for the actor's tragic passing:

Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Porsche In The Case Of Roger Rodas Is Thrown Out — What Does This Mean For Paul Walker's Family?

Porsche scores another victory.

According to legal documents, a judge has thrown out a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Roger Rodas' family. Roger was the driver involved in Paul Walker's fatal 2013 crash as well as a close friend.

Similarly to Paul's daughter Meadow Walker, Roger's loved ones felt that the famous car company was at fault for the tragedy. Essentially, the parties believe Porsche's designs are inherently risky and too unsafe to withstand accidents.

Unfortunately for Rodas' fam, a judge didn't agree with their claims.

While Roger's wife Kristine Rodas argued that the car was not built to withstand side impact, that its fuel cell was compromised, and that something failed in the car's suspension, a judge was not convinced. Mrs. Rodas also claimed the passenger compartment wasn't sturdy enough to withstand impact, an argument refuted by presenting evidence that Roger died when he was thrown into Paul, not the compartment.

The ruling heralds bad news for Meadow who remains convinced that Porsche is at fault for her father's death. At the present time, Ms. Walker is seeking damages for the tragedy while Porsche continues to maintain its innocence.
