Well, this whole Internet thing was fun while it lasted!

As you probably heard by now, the FCC voted to put an end to net neutrality, effectively allowing Internet Service Providers like Verizon and AT&T to slow down, block, or charge more for certain websites.

Needless to say, people of the interwebs were both outraged and terrified that this ruling went through — particularly since 83% of Americans were completely against it — and the voices of late night were just as furious.

Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers, and Stephen Colbert all sounded off on the FCC's tragic ruling Thursday night, blasting Donald Trump-appointed chairman Ajit Pai for giving big corporations full control of the internet.

Pai has said the FCC's action "is not going to end the Internet as we know it" and "it's not going to stifle free expression online." But as the late nighters point out, this deregulation could easily turn the Internet into the government's most lucrative toll road.

greta gerwig letters lady bird music late night interview

Greta Gerwig is all of us.

On Monday, the Lady Bird director stopped by Seth Meyers' Late Night and opened up about how she got Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, and Justin Timberlake to license their music for her film. And, despite being a celebrated artist herself, Miz Gerwig fangirled like crazy in her letters to the A-listers.

In all three letters, Greta praised the musicians for their musical genius — let's just say it's utter perfection. However, the note that stood out to us the most was definitely the one Gerwig penned for Timberlake. Not only did she tell the pop sensation that his music corresponded with her "very awkward puberty," but she also informed him that she "pretty much wouldn't be an adult without" him.

Be sure to take a look at the awkward, yet endearing missives for yourself (below)!!

Stephen Colbert Awkwardly Throws The Night's SCHEDULED GUEST Louis C.K. In To Roy Moore Sex Scandal Talk!

"For those of you tuning in to see my interview with Louis C.K. tonight, I have some bad news. Then I have some really bad news."

With those words, Stephen Colbert did his best Thursday night to keep things from getting too awkward after C.K.'s Late Late Show appearance was canceled at the last minute.

At least after a lengthy prepared monologue on the attempted statutory rape allegations against Republican Senate hopeful Roy Moore, it was kind of an easy segue to explaining:

"Louis canceled his appearance here tonight because The New York Times broke this story today: five women are accusing Louis C.K. of sexual misconduct."

Things must have been even more uncomfortable behind the scenes as Colbert and C.K. have known each other for years, having worked on the short-lived Dana Carvey Show over 20 years ago, long before finding their individual success.
