The Canadian rockers went full-on retro in the vid, taking us back to 1964 with a vintage aesthetic a bubblegum pop sound.
The guys of the group opened up about what inspired this nostalgic song and its visual counterpart, saying:
"The video for Singing In The Rain is a love letter to one of our favourite movies of all time, That Thing You Do. It's about the exhilarating power that 3 chords, a drum beat and a catchy melody can have on the lives of the people who create it. The video takes you on the magical journey from rehearsing in a garage to playing stadiums and topping the charts. and the roller-coaster ride that is the music industry: both exhilarating and extraordinary, heartbreaking and bittersweet. We had a blast filming this video and we hope that you will enjoy it and that it will make you smile!"

Off the band's upcoming 14-track album Taking One For The Team, the single is a perfect anti-love letter about some girl named Sofia — we're not sure what she did, but frontman Pierre Bouvier CLEARLY isn't happy about it!
One thing's for sure, you can plan to be brought back to a simpler time (get it?!) by rocking out to this song!

While the ABC hit pulled in some big names for this season, we were particularly shocked to see that former Texas Governor Rick Perry signed on to put on his dancing shoes. TBH, the politician seems like he'd fit in better in the town from Footloose than on DWTS!
Anywho, be sure to ch-ch-check out the FULL list of celebs and their dancing partners (below)!
