Kyle Kennedy speaks out.
Taraji P. Henson is still relishing her win at the Golden Globes, but that doesn't mean she's letting it get to her head!
The Empire starlet confessed that this new level of fame is actually new to her.
Speaking to Extra in a new interview, the fierce actress spilled:
"It's weird because I've been doing this for so long and it took a character like Cookie to expose me to the world in a way that I've never been exposed before."
It's true. But
Cookie Taraji is trying to stay as down-to-earth as possible.
The 45-year-old shared:
"I love to shop at Target and I love to do my own shopping, but that's become difficult… with the paparazzi. It's like, ‘Where were y'all, like, 10 years ago?' You have got to take the good with the bad. The good side is I can get into any restaurant… last-minute."
And revealing what it was like to be awarded with her first GG, she revealed:
"That is our soul we expose to the world, so whenever people receive it and people go, ‘Oh, we want to give you something,' it always feels good."
What a beautiful way to put it!
Though in five years, the starlet hopes to be settled down a bit. Taraji explained:
"Hopefully, I don't want to say ‘retired,' but a little slowed down. Maybe just picking and choosing projects I want to do. Maybe enjoying the fruits of my labor."
At least this means we won't be saying "bye" to Cookie anytime soon!

It's an It-girl party!
Even though they wore dresses from the upcoming collaboration, they each made the pieces their own!
Jaime styled her white tank and Steven Khalil high-waisted feather pencil skirt with a black blazer, embellished black choker, and black pumps to give the look some contrasting edge.
And Jessica took the same approach by spicing up her floral skirt and striped top with a sexy leather jacket and reflective silver heels.
Kate, though, went for head-to-toe black in a short-sleeved A-line dress, slouchy suede boots, and a very fancy-looking fanny pack around her waist.
She's one of the few who can make a fanny pack not seem like a total faux pas.
Are you loving these ensems???

The holidays keep picking up steam!
As if we weren't already!
Chrissy and Kristen were pristinely put-together in dainty, ladylike frocks, with the supermodel in a simple white shift by Victoria Beckham and the actress in a dotted black and floral number by Diane von Furstenberg.
Chrissy's baby bump was almost completely camouflaged!
During the event, KB gathered up her courage to get a glitter tattoo as Malin Akerman looked on and offered support.
BACKLASH! And then… backlash to the backlash!!!
Here's a Target sweater that has a not-so-sensitive joke on it about obsessive compulsive disorder, except it says "Obsessive Christmas Disorder" in green and white script.
Some people got annoyed at the retailer for making light of a serious mental illness, and then other people got mad at those people for getting annoyed in the first place.
Tale as old as time.
Here are some tweets about it!
These two give us friendship goals!
Well, apparently when these two aren't sneakily filming each other, they're having crazy run-ins at Target together!
Earlier this week at the EW Fest, Jussie and Taraji recalled one recent instance when a fan chased them down to get a picture. No exaggeration.
And according to the Empire's starlet, it was all her TV son's fault!
Watch them try and explain what happened without breaking into tears of laughter (below)!
