We don't know if we've ever been attracted to a man in 15th century armor, but Benedict Cumberbatch sure is pulling it off!
Benedict was photographed on the set of his new BBC movie series The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses: Richard III.
We know. That's a lot of title for one movie.
What the 38-year-old actor is actually filming is the third installment in the second cycle of a
Volcano and Dante's Peak. Armageddon and Deep Impact. Olympus Has Fallen and White House Down.
Every couple years it seems there are two movies with the exact same subject matter.
And strangely enough it looks like next year the focus will be on… Hank Williams.
But even stranger is the coincidence of casting that has led the stars of Thor to star in opposite projects about the country legend.
Now Aussie Chris Hemsworth, AKA Thor, is also going to star in a Hank Williams film.
This one, titled I'll Never Leave This World Alive and based on the novel of the same name, finds a doctor who was involved in Hank's mysterious death haunted by his ghost.
They certainly sound like VERY different projects, but how strange that these Asgardian brothers should find themselves at odds yet again, this time in the strangest battlefield of all - rural America in the 1960s!

Is there ANYTHING Tom Hiddleston can't do?
The Avengers hottie made an unexpected appearance at the Heartland Music Festival in Michigan over the weekend to make a surprise performance!
But, why would he do that and what songs did he sing?
Well, Tom is getting ready for his role as Hank Williams in the upcoming biopic I Saw the Light, which details his life in the spotlight and the tragedy that was his death.
The British actor performed some of Hank's most famous songs including Move It On Over on Saturday and he returned Sunday to give a rousing rendition of I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry alongside Rodney Crowell.
If you weren't convinced about him playing Hank before, you will be after watching this!
Ch-ch-check out the brilliant performance of Move It On Over…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Well, we knew Benedict Cumberbatch's video was coming eventually…
But we didn't know he would do it this well!
Which means he took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge more than once!
Any chariot that Tom Hiddleston is on is sure to be a chariot of fire because he is so hot!
Apparently, our favorite sneaky, evil Norse god is being considered by MGM and Paramount to play the titular role of Judah Ben-Hur in the Ben-Hur remake!
In fact, he's being courted for the role, but he's also desired by MGM to join the case of Me Before You!
What's Tom's next role? The MGM lion? SRSLY though. He could do it.
We hope he joins both casts! The more Tom the better!
We would be pretty grateful, too!
Tom Hiddleston amazed audiences around the world with his powerful portrayal of the character Loki in the last Avengers movie, and now we have word that Hiddleston was in awe of his role, as well!
He was SO impressed with director and writer Joss Whedon's first draft and his character's role in it that he wrote Joss a beautiful letter about it!
The letter appears in the upcoming book Joss Whedon: The Biography, in stores August 1st, and it's clear from Tom Hiddleston's words that acting isn't the only thing he's talented at!
Tom called his part
Whatever happened to Southern hospitality?
Remember when we told you Brit heartthrob Tom Hiddleston had been tapped to play American music icon Hank Williams in an upcoming biopic? Well, Hank's grandson — country star Hank Williams III — ain't on board with this selection at ALL!
Hank3 thinks Tom is the wrong man for the job and that the role should be played by something with real rootis in the American South.
