It's about time this girl made it to Broadway!

Jennifer Hudson is ready to hit the big time in the fall when she makes her Broadway debut in the production of A Color Purple.

The production will be directed and designed by John Doyle, who got a director's Tony for Sweeney Todd in 2006. He opened his version of The Color Purple in London in 2013.

The most exciting part about this announcement? This could be her chance at an EGOT! Jennifer already has a Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe… so now she just needs a Tony!

Can you even imagine!?

We have every confidence in Jennifer and in the rest of the cast to make this the best production of The Color Purple EVER!

LOLz! It's so obvious NPH is a seasoned pro at this sort of stuff, he even mentioned it in his 2013 Tonys opening musical number!

So, in honor of his next BIG gig, here's a look back at his opening number when he hosted the Tonys in 2013 (above)!!

Leave it to NPH to do it bigger and better! But the real question is…can he surpass Ellen DeGeneres' epic Oscar selfie?!

Sweet Tits of Clay this is a brilliant idea!!

Neil Patrick Harris won a Tony Award for his portrayal of a transgender rocker in Hedwig and the Angry Inch — prompting an extension of the show's broadway run!

While Barney Stinson was legen - wait for it - dary in ferosh heels and full female garb, the producers needed to find a replacement for the show's new schedule.

Cue Girls star Andrew Rannells aka gay Elijah!

Andrew is no stranger to the Great White Way — in fact, he was Tony-nominated for the role
