We love a golden dress at an awards show — so long as the woman doesn't look like the statue she might be taking home that night.
And Michelle Dockery did it just right at the 2013 Golden Globes!
The Downton Abbey beauty chose an Alexandre Vauthier dress with an incredible golden lace top and a far more simple bottom half (above)!
With small earrings and a basic clutch, she let the delicate intricacies of the top of her dress be the star of the show.
But they did have a minor costar as she paired the look with a deep emerald ring that ended up being the perfect final touch.
A golden goddess! Brava!

Adorkable??
More like breathtaking!!
Zooey Deschanel has dumped the frames and flannel for the classic Old Hollywood feel at the Golden Globes tonight.
Leave it to Oscar de la Renta to transform Tinsel Town's favorite hipster into a real Cinderella on the red carpet!
And those pearls! She looks like a real 1960s socialite — poised and polished like a perfect princess!
Brava, Zo. Bra-Va!

Festive!
Not great, but fun!
Donning Donna Karan, fiery-haired Debra Messing showed up to the 2013 Golden Globes like a Chinese lantern unraveling for the party!
And check out all those bangles! Shake it up, girl!
With her ginger hair pulled back tight and oversized earrings dangling, the Smash star will be presenting an award tonight while mingling with her co-stars Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty.
The color is a big yes, but the neckline is a big NO! A sweetheart would've been much more flattering!
Maybe the dress will even light up from the inside? Now that would definitely make for a fun addition to all your GG drinking games!

She keeps looking younger by the day!
Tina Fey was gorgeous on the red carpet for Sunday's Golden Globes in El Lay.
The 30 Rock actress and tonight's hostess wore a strapless L’Wren Scott dress, which featured a scalloped lace hem. This frock was both seksi and age appropriate, and we totally approve!
A black Roger Vivier clutch, Salvatore Ferragamo platform pumps and Fred Leighton jewels completed the red carpet ensemble.
This wasn’t Tina's most memorable look, but it was still spot on!

It's like she didn't want to be there.
Despite looking bored to tears, Megan Fox exuded all kinds of Old Hollywood elegance at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
The actress looked svelte in a cream colored Dolce & Gabbana gown that hugged her new mommy curves.
Megan’s pink drop Lorraine Schwartz earrings were a little costume-y, but she’s just getting back into the swing of things, so we’ll ignore it for now.
Jimmy Choo shoes and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch completed the look.
It’s nice to have you back, Megs!

Katharine McPhee made 100% sure that all eyes would be on her, or more accurately on her boobage, as she arrived on the red carpet for the Golden Globes this afternoon.
The stunning Smash star looked beyond seksi in a black satin Theyskens Theory gown with plunging neckline and thigh-high slit.
Keep an eye out for nip slips, y'all!
Katharine completed her femme fatale look with a high top bun and strappy black heels.
It's like vintage J.Lo, but better!

Don’t worry, the Fashion Police can rest easy with this one.
Kelly Osbourne showcased her fashion sense at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
The TV personality wore a strapless, pastel green dress by one of her favorites, Zac Posen, and carried a light blue Judith Leiber clutch, wore Giuseppe Zanotti heels, and was adorned in Jacob & Co. jewels.
Kelly O also went with the popular side part and cascading curls, which she totally rocked.
We’re so happy she went with a classic look!
