He is a god walking amongst mere mortals. He has a voice that could make a wolverine purr. His suits are so fine, he makes Sinatra look like a hobo.
And now, Ron Burgundy has his own school of communication named after him!
No, that headline is not Veronica Corningstone pulling another prank. This news is REAL!
Emerson College recently announced they will rename their School of Communication after the legendary Anchorman character!
That’s kind of a big deal!
Will Ferrell will even attend the dedication (in character, of course) at the Boston college's campus and speak to students about his path to journalistic greatness! Following the ceremony, a special screening of Anchorman 2 will take place!
Emerson’s President Lee Pelton said of Mr. Burgundy:
The R&B legend was performing live at The Grove in El Lay during their annual Hollywood Holidays concert. But it took her THREE tries to get through the song My Favorite Things before she finally got all of the lyrics right!
As far as Christmas carols go though, that one is a TOTAL tongue twister so we can see why she’d have some trouble!
You can see in the video above that Mary did have a teleprompter scrolling for her to follow along with, but she still just couldn’t keep up with the song’s fast tempo.
Third time was a charm though and the fans in the crowd kept cheering her on, no matter how many attempts it took to get it right!
We know for sure that one of our favorite things is Mary’s voice!
Make sure you practice, practice, PRACTICE this tune, Carrie Underwood! She’ll be singing it live as well during NBC’s Sound of Music special next month!
While OSU's marching band still earns it's nickname, the Clemson Tigers' marching band wants the world to know that OSU isn't the only school that can rock the stadium with amazing tributes!!
During last Thursday’s game against Georgia Tech, the CTMB performed an incredible Nintendo tribute! They even transformed themselves into video game characters from Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda. It took a lot of guts to challenge OSU like this…
… and we think they succeeded in showing everyone they can do something fab too!
