Oh El Lay traffic!

Last night, American Idol presented its top ten finalists and at the start of the show, judge Nicki Minaj was nowhere to be found!

When the show went on at 8pm, Ryan Seacrest pointed out how only three of the four judges were seated at the table and made it clear that they were “live and on time.”

After Ryan explained that Nicki was late after getting stuck in traffic on the 405 coming from Malibu, her Minajesty arrived about 13 minutes into the show, missing Curtis Finch, Jr.’s performance!

Once Nicki finally did get seated at the judges’ table, she showed up wearing a black hoodie over her head, along with some shades that covered her eyes… and made no mention of her lateness!!!

We’re hearing that the Starships songstress was eventually asked to take the shades off, to which she said she, “had to check her eyes” first!

Did she not have time to get her eye makeup done or… ??? LOLz!

By the time Kree Harrison hit the stage, Nicki’s on camera antics were in FULL effect, which led Keith Urban to question what was in her cup!

Ha! All while Mariah Carey divaliciously looked oh so unamused!!!

Following the judges’ critiques, Ryan uncomfortably asked Nicki what was in her cup and she answered, “syrup!”

Oops! Probably not the best thing to say… ! We’re sure Idol producers sat Minaj down for a little meeting afterwards!

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was spotted taking a trip to the Bel Bambini baby emporium in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

There to help were her more experienced sisters Kourtney Kardashian, mom of two, and Khloe Kardashian Odom, stepmom to three.
